While speaking to the media, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said ” Once the hospital is built with highly equipped technology and facilities, it will not only benefit the people of our state but will also help the entire North Eastern States and as well as our neighboring country Bangladesh. I have seen a plot spreading 265 acres of land at Budhjungnagar area for setting up AIIMS as the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has asked for 200 acres land to push the ambitious healthcare project”
The Chief Minister further added ” If everything goes well, the work of the hospital will start from November.
