It may be recalled that BJP MP from Tripura Manoj Kanti Deb was accused of harassing the sole lady cabinet minister Santana Chakma after a video went viral on social media.

Following this, Manoj Deb denies the charges and said that he was only trying to move the lady minister away from him as she was standing infront of her.

In a press statement, Santana Chakma also rubbished charges of harassment against the minister and said that the video circulation on social media was tampered with.
