Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with law Minister Ratan Lal Nath today visited the residence of Maranjit Kebar, the labour who lost his life after due to electrocution by electric power line four days ago while working in a building construction which is allegedly illegal at Big Bazar area under Bhanu Timer.

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb announced Rs. 5 lakh financial help for the victim’s family. Rs 1 lakh will be given from the Chief Minister’s fund and Rs. 4 lakh will be given from the government.

The Chief Minister has also assured that proper action will be taken against those who are found guilty for the unfortunate death.

The incident took place when the the deceased was working at a building construction site and suddenly came in contact with the power and died after being electrocuted.
