AGARTALA: A two-day long job-fair for the unemployed youths would be conducted in Agartala on April 25 and 26 respectively.
The fair will be part of Centre’s National Career Service Project. The fair would be organized with the initiative of Employment and Planning Department.
The fair is open to job-seeking candidates who have qualification of at least Madhyamik ( Class10) with minimum age of 18 years.
A Tamil Nadu-based private company and its allied sectors would appoint candidates in the two-day long fair.
Total 4,000 vacant posts are lying in those sectors.
The willing candidates need to enroll their names with Employment Exchange in their respective districts within April 20 to take part in the fair.
They could download the application form from the website – www.employment.Tripura.gov.in.
The selected candidates would have to undergo three-month training before appointment in different posts.
During the training period, they would be given stipend of Rs.250 per day and after appointment, their monthly salary would be around Rs.7,500.
They would be provided free accommodation and three-time food everyday at Rs. 45.
Such kind of job-fair was known to be organized in 1972 through fill-up of job forms to get recruited in government sectors.
