Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, yesterday interacted with the IT and electronic manufacturing professionals across the country on the occasion of the launching of the “Main Nahin Hum” Portal and App.
IT professionals from M/s Xlayer Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Agartala, M/s Software World, Agartala, M/s Tripurainfo.com, Agartala, M/s DS Datamatics, Agartala & M/s Insyssky Softech Pvt. Ltd., Agartala participated the meeting through webcast in STPI Agartala.
The LIVE viewing facility of Interaction program was also organized by Software Technology Parks of India, at its offices in North Eastern Capital Cities including Agartala where numbers of incubation unit members and states IT companies has attended the program.
During the Event Prime Minister Shri Modi met with key IT industry leaders across the country and he addressed a gathering consisting of IT professionals, and employees of IT and electronic manufacturing organizations in New Delhi. He interacted with the gathering in a Townhall style format.
During this event Prime Minister Shri, Modi, interacted through Video Conference with IT professionals connected from more than 10 interactive sites and around 500 broadcasting sites across the country.
The event was viewed LIVE through DD National and other online media widely by IT Professionals from North Eastern states including Agartala and other locations.
On the occasion PM officially launches the “Main Nahin Hum” Portal and App. The portal, which works on the theme “Self4Society”, will enable IT professionals and organizations to bring together their efforts towards social causes, and service to society, on one platform.
Joint Director and head of STPI Agartala, Shibendu Debbarma who organizes the live viewing of PM interaction with the IT professionals said to tripurainfo that Main Nahin Hum Portal and App is expected to help catalyse greater collaboration towards the service of the weaker sections of society, especially by leveraging the benefits of technology. It is also expected to generate wider participation of interested people who are motivated to work for the benefit of society, he said.
