AGARTALA | December 18, 2018:
On Monday, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said that a policy is being drafted by the state government to ensure Tripura students for better education or job opportunities within the state.
The government is planning to make massive infrastructural upgrades in Agartala, Udaipur (headquarters of South Tripura) and Dharmanagar (headquarters of North Tripura) in the next three years.
Deb said that the state lags behind in infrastructure, youngsters often go abroad for higher studies. Our former dispensation failed to develop the state in the last 25 years. Now, the state government is in the process of drafting a
policy so that students do have to leave Tripura for education or jobs
He added that by upgrading the infrastructure in three cities will include better education and and healthcare facilities. The government is also making an effort to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship which will make youths self-reliant and boost the economy.
