The month long election saga has finally come to an end and all eyes are now on the election results scheduled to be declared on May 23. In view of this, security has been tightened across counting centers in Tripura.
Heavy security has been deployed across counting centres in Umakanta Academy where all the EVMs are locked following the polling held in two seats.
It may be mentioned that around 900 million Indians were eligible to vote in the seven-phase election, with vote counting to begin on Thursday.
It is to be mentioned here that most exit polls on Sunday last forecast another term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with some of them projecting that BJP-led NDA will get more than 300 seats to comfortably cross the majority mark of 272 in the Lok Sabha.
