The Tripura West Parliamentary Constituency is polling today in the 6th phase of Lok Sabha polls along with other states of the country.

The total poll percentage as of 12 pm was 31.22 per cent. Polling began at 7 am today morning and is currently in progress.

it may be recalled that the Election Commission of India had ordered a re-polling on May 12 after declaring the recent polling across 168 booths of Tripura West parliamentary constituency as void.

The polling, as per schedule will be held from 7 am to 5 pm today.

A total of 141,251 electorate, including 69,328 women, are eligible to exercise their franchise in the Lok Sabha seat, where 13 candidates, including a woman are contesting.

A record number of over 7,000 security personnel, comprising central paramilitary and Tripura State Rifles have been deployed to hold free and fair re-polling in the constituency.
